I'm Chibundo Egwuatu. I am an anthropologist, organizer, and systems strategist dedicated to building liberatory futures.
My work lives at the intersections of community organizing, harm reduction, technology ethics, and somatic practice; I work to build and refine systems that support care. For over a decade, I’ve organized with sex workers, drug users, survivors of violence, and LGBTQIA2S+ communities, leading campaigns for liberation, bodily autonomy, and collective wellbeing. My academic research (PhD in Sociocultural Anthropology, in progress) investigates digital imperialism, sexual politics, and the ways communities resist through love, solidarity, and refusal.
I am interested in the social aspects of emerging tech and community-driven design. As a systems thinker and world-builder, I thrive in spaces where organizing, research, and imagination meet; building grassroots coalitions, advising on ethical frameworks, or crafting projects that center marginalized voices. I currently offer:
Speaking & Facilitation – talks, workshops, and panels on harm reduction, sex work, survivor advocacy, abolition, tech community ethics, and building liberatory futures.
Somatic Accompaniment – a boutique practice supporting individuals and small groups in reconnecting with their bodies during times of transition, healing, or transformation.
I thrive in collaborative contexts.
